The problem
Small cohorts.
Big questions.
Orbital, lacrimal, eyelid, and periocular aesthetic conditions are individually uncommon at any single clinic. The result? Literature dominated by small, heterogeneous cohorts and outcome measures that differ from one paper to the next.
Few questions in oculoplastic surgery ever reach a confident, evidence-graded recommendation. IORRN exists to change that — by making multinational clinical research possible for anyone with a meaningful question.

Consent is handled locally because research requirements vary by country. IORRN does not independently verify the accuracy, completeness or legality of submitted data. Each site remains responsible for the data it collects, submits, and the approvals and consents it obtains.

Send it to the coordinating team
Study proposals are currently submitted by email. There is no self-service registration or publishing system at this stage.

IORRN reviews the proposal
The coordinating team reviews the submission and contacts you before anything is published.

Approved calls are published manually
Interested sites contact the study author directly. The protocol, shared data collection form, and authorship threshold are agreed before enrolling.

The strongest calls are specific: a stated topic, proposed design, and a clear sense of what's being asked.
